Donna Hammond-Butts

Multimedia and External Communications Project Manager

 
D eacon Donna Hammond-Butts serves as the Multimedia and External Communications Project Manager. She is responsible for content development, copy editing, press releases and advisories, and creating/disseminating communications regarding Trinity’s worship services and special events and our Senior Pastor, Rev. Dr. Otis Moss III, to external digital and print media platforms. In addition, Deacon Donna creates content and provides editing support for our digital, video, and print media platforms.
 
Deacon Donna joined Trinity UCC in 1972, and has served in various ministries, including Deacons, Boy Scouts, Sanctuary Choir, Praise Team, Media, Married Couples, Domestic Violence, and S.A.L.T. Teen Bible study. She recently completed the Certificate in Black Church Studies program at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, Illinois where she plans to pursue a Masters of Divinity. She and her husband, Ron Butts, are the parents of two adult sons and are proud grandparents.
